The base petrol engine – 85 hp 1.2 L TFSI (5.1 l/100 km), the most powerful 1.4 L has 120 hp and reaches 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds.
Diesel engine enthusiasts will be able to choose from two versions of the 1.6 L TDI engine – 89 hp (3.8 l/100 km) or 104 hp (3.9 l/100 km). The engines will also be offered with a smooth 7-speed gearbox.
All Audi A1s have an automatic engine stop-start system and an energy recovery system that helps save energy released during braking.
