“Panamera E-Hybrid” provides the opportunity to have three things at once – high-level comfort, sporty driving characteristics, and efficiency. Each journey begins in completely electric mode “E-Power” and can cover a distance of up to 50 km without activating the gasoline engine. When the battery charge level drops to a minimum or reaches a certain level when the accelerator is pressed, the “Auto Hybrid” mode engages, where both the engine and the electric drive operate. The average fuel consumption of the new “Panamera” model is 2.9 l/100 km, carbon dioxide emissions are 66 g/km, and electricity consumption is 16.2 kWh/100 km.
Completely new engines have been developed – a twin-turbo V6 engine for the “Panamera 4S” model and a twin-turbo V8 engine for the “Panamera Turbo” model. They are lighter and more compact than their predecessors.
The cabin design has been completely redesigned, yet it still retains the “Porsche” uniqueness. The central control panel rises to the top of the front of the car. The dashboard is flat and noticeably wide.
The braking system of the “Panamera” models is equipped with six-piston aluminum monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four calipers at the rear.
